Design Dorkiness

I used to tease Brian by asking obnoxious questions like, “What would you do if I wrote you love letters printed in Papyrus?” or “What if my favorite font were Comic Sans?” Brian was not amused. His answer to the former question was, “If you did that, you’d either not know me at all or you’d know me very well and would be actively trying to hurt me. I don’t know what’s worse.” He wouldn’t even answer the other question.

This may sound silly, but design is very, very important to Bri. He values aesthetics, which I guess I should take as a compliment. He designed all of the printed materials for our wedding, centering them around the quote we used for our save-the-dates: “Love doesn’t make the world go round. Love is what makes the ride worthwhile” (Franklin P. Jones). Well played, Brian. Well played. Though I think Curlz really would have added a certain something…

Everything looked so good–I think even better in print than these digital images will let on, although that could be my crappy monitor at work. What, work? Oh, yeah… back to it. Love you guys! Brian, you got rad skillz.

Your boy is ta-len-ted. All the designs captured New Orleans and the DIY simplicity of your wedding. Isn’t it wonderful to be with a designer?

This blog is extremely well written and gives the information in details. This blog very clearly answers my queries. Hope to read some more blogs like these.

Someone living in Vailsburg on the noterrhn side of the Brennan Rec Center was the leak to S.I. I’m going to track him down and exact revenge. Hazard zet forward, Pirates. On a serious note, Jerry, the season ticket packages just came out for SHU hoops and this is an outrage even if you give the same amount of money to Pirate Blue as last year, you are not guaranteed your same seat as the 07-08 inaugral season at the Rock. So those of us shmucks who took the risk that the arena would be a success get no preference (save 2 measly loyalty points) when it comes to 08-09 seating. And to make matters worse, there is going to be reseating every 2 years thereafter. This is absurd. If you’re in a good seat and willing to give the dough necessary to keep it, you should be able to do so. WTF?!?!?!?!
