Hey, everyone! Come and see how good I look!

Glorious news. Brian and I spent a few tedious, yet rewarding, hours on Friday evening updating the design and functionality of this fine blog you are reading. Voila! (And yes, we are huge dorks who voluntarily spend Friday nights tinkering with Photoshop, WordPress and BlueHost. Go ahead and judge.)

I’m pretty darn happy with it and am thanking my lucky stars I married a man who can A) design a kickass pirate-hula-girl-themed masthead and B) keep me from throwing my computer off the balcony in a frustrated rage. This is just the kick in the pants I need to start writing more often, so stay tuned for more in the coming days and weeks.

Hey, I can’t load the header image, but that may be the computer at work, which is a POS. Will try at home. :-) Good job moving to brighter and bolder!

Thanks for the support, ladies! Margaret, let me know if it works on your home computer… weird that it isn’t loading. My previous job used to block random images from the Web.

Also, I’ve been updating my blogroll and Google Reader to include your fine blogs :)

(whistling) Lookin’ good. How YOU doin’? Love the new design. Isn’t living with a designer grand? The blog looks so fresh and so clean. I also love that we can get notified of follow-up comments so we can all revel together in just how good you look.

Ay ay! Thanks, babe :) Living with a designer is most definitely grand. Bri did the masthead, of course, and helped me move all of my content over to the new version of WordPress (for some reason when I installed it originally, it gave me one that was super frickin’ old and buggy). I was proud because I found the new theme and was able to tweak the design and install my plugins and everything without too much trouble. I’m slowly making technology my bitch.
